There was a time when cruising was the domain of the newlywed and nearly dead. But Norwegian Cruise Line seems intent on changing cruising demographics with Epic, their latest ship being christened in New York this afternoon. NCL has done something daring in cruising – introducing 128 staterooms for solo travellers with no single supplement.
Last week Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) announced that it will be bringing it’s newest ship Norwegian Epic to the UK for Summer 2011 sailings around the Mediterranean. The ship is set to deliver a host of new features when it launches later this year. The company is hoping it’s most innovative of ships will appeal to everyone – not just the families usually found on an NCL cruise.
